Come Away

Song of Solomon 2:10, 13: My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. 13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

What wonderful words Solomon spoke to his love. They are the words that the Lord speaks to each of us every day. Come away with me. Come away from your sin. Come away from judgment. Come away from your old life. Come away to new life. Come away to blessings. Come away to forgiveness. Come away to safety. Come away to my love. I think those words come away are some of the most beautiful words in the Bible. They sometimes bring tears of joy to my eyes.
